Welcome
Hello, amigos e amigas. Come enjoy some designs made by a certified crag gremlin. Who certified me? No one. A crag gremlin is forged solely through their love of the rock.
I may not be the best climber, or the best artist, but every day I’m the best at waking up furious that I’m not opening my eyes to the sunlight at the crag, about to crawl out of my tent, gremlin-style, to brew some coffee while I warm up my fingies.
So, I thought: in this world where nothing is pure except the relationship between a climber and the wall, why not share my doodles and make a little bit of money so that I can finally buy those La Sportiva Comps? I can make something I’m kinda proud of (wow) and get my gremlin ass on a rock (hell yeah).
I do what I do because I love climbing, and I love the community. No matter the grade or the style, we’re all creatures of the crag. Thanks for stopping by and for supporting a fellow climber and artist.
Enjoy the designs, and see ya out there. Allez!
Frequently-asked questions
Stay curious, gremlin.
-
do you hand-draw all your designs?
100%. There's no AI BS here, baby. All of these designs are drawn by my calloused little crag gremlin hands. Also, I'm terrible at technology.
-
do you make the actual product?
Unfortunately, no. I don't have the capacity to make and print the clothing myself. What I focus on is the designs. It would be cool to do it all, but I have two jobs on top of this, and most of my free time and money goes to climbing.
-
where do you get all your great ideas?
A Crag Gremlin never reveals their secrets.

This shirt/sweatshirt is too beautiful to wear at the crag. what should i do?
Look, I get it- you don’t want to wear your fancy clothes to the crag. As a climber, a Crag Gremlin T-Shirt may even be the fanciest piece of clothing you own. And that’s what you need to do- own it. Stained it with blood and coffee and dirt? Even more authentic. Ripped it? A new place to clip quickdraws when your harness gets full. Someone stole it after you took it off to go send your proj? Buy another one (or two)!

why aren't your products cheaper?
That's art, baby. But actually, it's for two reasion:
1. This is a small operation, so I don't have the luxury of doing everything in super large quantities, which is how things become cheaper, and I also don't have much start-up capital.
2. I'm trying to balance quality and price. I don't want to sell people a T-Shirt that's going to look like shit after 10 washes, so I didn't pick the cheapest T-shirts out there, but I also didn't pick the most expensive, because I know we're all dropping too much money on climbing gear already.

how does the manufacturing process work?
Since I am but a little crag gremlin who has a full-time job and no capacity to store an inventory, my products are currently fulfilled using Print on Demand. Selling in-person is in the cards for the near future, but for right now, it's just online. I use the POD service Printify for all of the shirts, sweatshirts, and beanies, and Gelato for the dad caps and trucker hats. The POD service then sends the order to a manufacturer in the region. This is why the products/styles/colors offered are different in Europe than they are in North America. I've chosen the POD services and manufacturers based on location, reliability and price-to-quality ratio, but I may make changes as more products are ordered and more feedback is received. It's a process, and I appreciate your feedback!

there's a problem with my order/shipping
Damn, that sucks. You can email crag.gremlin@gmail.com or fill out the contact form and I’ll sort it out for you.
CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY PRODUCT?
Only if you want to make me sad. Actually, though, since each order is made on-demand for each person after they order it, products can only be returned if there is a defect. Read more about the return and refund policy here.
